Abraham Lincoln Facts Scavenger Hunt

In conjunction with Abraham Lincoln's 203rd birthday, Lincoln's Logan County Arts and Crafts Guild is sponsoring an Abraham Lincoln Facts Scavenger Hunt. Families are encouraged to take the quiz together and visit local sites to find the answers. Answers to some of the questions may be found by visiting Postville Courthouse State Historic Site, Lincoln Heritage Museum at Lincoln College and reading local historical markers. Some contestants may prefer to do research online or in history books. Each question has points assigned for correct answers.  Anyone who accumulates a minimum of 50 points will be entered in a drawing for one of 10 prizes sponsored by Postville Courthouse State Historic Site. All answer sheets must be mailed or delivered to Postville Courthouse State Historic Site, 914 Fifth St., no later than 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012. The prize drawing will be held at noon on Feb. 11 at Postville. Be sure to put your name, address and telephone number on your answer sheet.
